Vorga One-Eye
Veteran Warlord
Vorga One-Eye
Species
Orc
Appearance
Vorga One-Eye is a towering orc woman with a compact, iron-heavy presence rather than a lumbering one. She moves with economical steps, placing each foot as carefully as if crossing thin ice. Her left eye is gone, not hidden by an eyepatch, and the empty socket is covered by a fitted disk of black horn bound to her brow with red cord. The horn has been polished smooth everywhere except where her thumb rests, leaving a pale, greasy crescent from years of unconscious touching. Her remaining eye is dark amber and unnervingly steady. Her lower tusks are filed flat for speaking clearly during battle. She smells faintly of pine smoke, oiled leather, and iron filings. The unexpected contradiction is her hands: enormous, callused, and built for breaking shields, yet she performs tiny acts of care with them, such as mending a child's boot or braiding loose horsehair back into a standard. Within a minute of meeting her, most people notice that she occupies exactly the amount of space necessary and never an inch more, yet everyone nearby unconsciously makes room for her.
“Her voice is low, dry, and measured, with the clipped rhythm of battlefield commands. She rarely raises it.”

Distinguishing Features
A black horn disk covers her missing left eye, polished smooth where her thumb repeatedly touches it.
Her axe haft bears dozens of shallow tally marks, each grouped in threes except for one unfinished set.
Her campaign mantle is stitched from faded standards taken from defeated armies.
Her lower tusks are filed flat, giving her speech an unusually precise, almost scholarly clarity.
People unconsciously step aside around her even when she has not asked them to move.
Voice
“A low contralto with the texture of gravel under snow, controlled enough to make a whisper sound like a command”
Clothing
Layered charcoal wool, red-dyed hide panels, and a sleeveless coat of overlapping iron scales. Her mantle is made from faded campaign pennants stitched together with black thread. The inner hem is lined with tiny knots, one for every soldier she has personally buried.
Body Language
Vorga stands squarely but never rigidly, with her shoulders lowered and her weight balanced over the balls of her feet. Before giving an order, she taps her axe haft twice against the ground or her boot. When listening, she tilts her head toward the speaker's voice and closes her remaining eye for a heartbeat. Her stillness is more intimidating than most warriors' threats.
