Seshai Thesin
Bard, College of Lore
Seshai Thesin
Species
Quadian
Appearance
Seshai is a tall, fine-boned Quadian woman whose silhouette seems to contain more movement than one body should. Two narrow, scaled neck-frills lie folded behind her jaw; when she sings, they unfurl and quiver like the hoods of small serpents. Her hands are broad-palmed and densely callused from years of reins, strings, and wagon work. She watches doorways and hands before faces. Her deliberate, soundless steps contrast with a laugh that arrives in three separate, overlapping notes.
“Low and measured, with sibilants softened into a breathy hiss. She can layer a second, higher harmony beneath her speaking voice when she wants a room to listen.”

Distinguishing Features
Two slender, scaled throat-frills that unfurl and tremble when she sings
Her gaze checks hands, doors, and nearby companions before settling on a speaker's face
Broad, callused palms with fine pale ridges from years of reins and stringed instruments
A laugh that splits into three harmonizing notes
Voice
“A soft, breathy contralto. Her consonants hiss lightly, and when she sings, several notes seem to come from separate places around her.”
Clothing
Layered indigo and ochre caravan clothes, a short scaled-leather vest, a broad sash carrying writing tools and tuning reeds, and soft boots dusted with road salt
Body Language
She turns her shoulders toward whoever is speaking but keeps her gaze moving around the room. Her fingers drum quiet triplets against her thigh. When a promise matters, she stills completely and lowers all her throat-frills.
