Orsul Vey-Null, the Ash Counter
Lesser Deity
Orsul Vey-Null, the Ash Counter
Species
Outsider
Appearance
Orsul appears as a tall, severe figure with a body that seems assembled from pale stone, winter mist, and polished bone. His skin looks like frost laid over marble, smooth until the light catches the fine hairline cracks of gold running beneath it like repaired pottery. He moves with precise, economical steps, but there is an unsettling contradiction in his presence: his hands are always perfectly clean, yet his cuffs are stained with old battlefield mud that never washes out. His face is handsome in a severe, almost administrative way, with narrow lips, a sharp chin, and a gaze that feels less like eye contact and more like being audited by a star. When he is angered, the air around his shoulders turns unnaturally still, as if the world itself is holding its breath.
“Low, precise, and measured, with each sentence sounding weighed before it is spoken. He rarely raises his voice.”

Distinguishing Features
A cracked gold sigil embedded in the center of his forehead like a repaired coin.
A rosary of tiny iron army tokens wrapped around one wrist.
His shadow occasionally shows him wearing a crown of bayonets.
He smells faintly of snow, ink, and extinguished candles.
His left pupil is a rotating ring of numerals that vanish when directly stared at.
Voice
“Dry, intimate, and administrative, like a verdict read by someone who has already archived the outcome.”
Clothing
Layered ceremonial war-robes of ash velvet, segmented silver mail beneath, a belt of brass counting rings, and a mantle stitched with tiny map-grid patterns. His gloves are formal black leather, but the fingertips are worn raw from endless tallying.
Body Language
Still and economical, with almost no wasted motion. He turns his head before his eyes, folds his hands behind his back when thinking, and tilts his chin only slightly when displeased. When he is moved, the smallest sign is a faint tightening at the corner of his mouth.
