Valerene Tskhvetadze
Enchantment Wizard
Valerene Tskhvetadze
Species
Elf
Appearance
Valerene is a tall, fine-boned elf whose stillness feels more commanding than motion. Her skin has the muted bronze tone of polished cedar, marked at the throat by three faint silver scars from an old ceremonial blade. Her hair falls in dense black coils threaded with living ivy, each leaf glossy with dew even in dry rooms. One side of her face is severe and queenly, while the other carries a small, almost mischievous dimple that appears only when she is being cruel. She moves with measured economy, never wasting a gesture, yet her hands are callused like a forester's. She leaves behind the scent of crushed fern, cold rain, and candle smoke.
“Her voice is low, clear, and unhurried, carrying the soft rasp of leaves dragged over stone. She rarely raises it.”

Distinguishing Features
Three silver scars cross her throat, almost hidden beneath her collar.
Living ivy grows through her black hair and wilts only when she is grieving.
Her left canine is slightly longer than the other, a harmless inherited trait that gives her smile a predatory edge.
She carries a strip of charred blue cloth from the settlement destroyed during her formative childhood crisis.
Her shadow sometimes shows antlered branches when she is standing near old leyline growth.
Voice
“A contralto with a velvet rasp, precise enough to make every word feel weighed and selected before it leaves her mouth”
Clothing
She wears layered deep-green court robes beneath a fitted mantle of lacquered leaf-scale armor. Silver clasps depict the Boundary Pines, while the inside hem is embroidered with the names of villages protected during her first decade of rule. Her crown is a narrow circlet of living blackthorn, unexpectedly plain beside the wealth of her other garments.
Body Language
Valerene keeps her shoulders relaxed and her chin slightly lowered, as if listening from beneath a forest canopy. Her hands remain visible, one resting over the other, except when she is genuinely worried, when her thumb rubs the silver scar at her throat. She turns her entire body toward people she respects and only her eyes toward those she intends to discard.
