Appearance
Sóleyra looks like a junior clerk who has stepped out of a silent office and into a dangerous street. Her youthful face is symmetrical and almost forgettable at first glance, with a narrow jaw, straight nose, pressed lips, and deep brown eyes that are both clinically alert and unexpectedly warm. Her short dark-brown hair lies so neatly that it seems combed by geometry. She stands perfectly upright, never leaning unless she is deliberately inspecting something. Her movements are economical and quiet, with a slight forward inclination when she walks, as though following an invisible line of text. The first thing most people notice is her hands: long-fingered, extremely steady, and faintly rough along the fingertips from years of sorting rough parchment, sealing wax, and archival thread. One contradictory detail disrupts her immaculate appearance: a small smear of blue ink permanently stains the whorl of her left thumb, despite her constant efforts to remove it. She leaves the impression of a locked cabinet that has decided, briefly, to speak.
“Low, clear, and carefully paced. Sóleyra pronounces every consonant, rarely raises her volume, and gives silence the shape of a question.”

Distinguishing Features
A permanent blue ink stain marks the whorl of her left thumb.
Her eyes seem kind until she notices a contradiction, at which point her attention becomes surgical.
She never allows loose papers to remain out of order within arm's reach.
Her silver bracelet is made from linked fragments of old archive shelving.
She walks with nearly silent, measured steps and never fidgets in public.
Voice
“A quiet contralto with a breathy edge, precise diction, and a faint sibilant softness. Her voice becomes warmer when speaking to children and flatter when addressing authority figures.”
Clothing
A full-length obsidian cloak tailored close to the body, over a high-collared gray-black tunic fastened with tiny bone toggles. Her clothing is made from fine linen and silk, immaculate except for occasional chalk dust at the cuffs. She wears practical dark trousers, soft-soled boots, and a plain silver chain bracelet on her right wrist. Hidden inner pockets hold folded forms, sealing wax, charcoal, and her dagger.
Body Language
Sóleyra remains unnervingly still while others speak, with her hands folded lightly at her waist. When she becomes angry, she grows even more motionless. Her only obvious tell is a slight tightening in her left wrist before she takes a decisive action.
