Seshat Vashir
Fighter, Battle Master; noble background
Seshat Vashir
Species
Elf, summer-court lineage
Appearance
A slender, sun-browned elf whose stillness makes the caravan around him seem to move faster. His hands are unusually memorable: long fingers, broad pale calluses from years of reins and ledger-work, and dark ink permanently settled into the creases around his nails. He has a small, neat mouth and blunt, almost human-looking incisors; when he laughs, the contrast with his otherwise fine-boned face is startling. He walks with a measured, heel-first pace, yet can vault onto a moving wagon without disturbing the papers tucked under his arm. He looks like a court portrait that has learned to sleep under a wagon.
“Measured and low, with a dry, almost private humor. He enunciates names carefully and lets silence do the work of a threat.”

Distinguishing Features
Ink-dark creases around the fingernails from years of writing and handling old ledgers.
Blunt, squared incisors that show when his controlled smile turns into a real laugh.
A family seal worn backward on his sash, its emblem facing inward toward his body.
Voice
“A soft, sibilant baritone with clipped consonants and a faint lilt picked up from years on the eastern roads.”
Clothing
Layered cream linen under a sleeveless, saffron-colored riding coat, weather-dark trousers, soft riding boots, and a narrow blue sash bearing his family's old seal. His cuffs are embroidered with tiny caravan route marks, not court patterns.
Body Language
He keeps his hands folded when listening, thumbs rubbing against the ink-dark creases of his forefingers. When uneasy, he squares nearby objects to the edge of a table. In a crowd, he stands slightly aside from the center, as if leaving room for someone who has not arrived.
