Appearance
Mizuno is a slender young woman with the stillness of a portrait and the sudden, precise movements of a hunting bird. Her skin is pale as candle wax, but faint blue veins show at her wrists and throat when she is angry. Her short black hair is cut unevenly around her jaw, with one stubborn lock that always curls toward her left eye. Her mouth is unnaturally wide, extending farther toward her cheeks than any human smile should, and her black lipstick makes the feature impossible to ignore. Her eyes are entirely black except for narrow scarlet pupils that contract into vertical slits. She has long, sharply pointed ears, delicate enough to suggest an elven ancestry she refuses to discuss. At first glance she seems fragile and aristocratic. Then she laughs, revealing the strength in her shoulders and the unsettling speed with which her jaw opens. The unexpected contradiction is that she smells faintly of warm bread and cedar smoke, a comforting scent that clashes horribly with her predatory appearance.

Clothing
A floor-length black dress of matte velvet over a fitted black corset reinforced with thin strips of lacquered bone. The neckline is dramatically low but carefully structured, more like ceremonial armor than an invitation. The sleeves split into hanging panels that move like wings when she turns. She wears thigh-high boots, a silver key at her throat, and gloves with the fingertips cut away. The inside of her collar is embroidered with tiny red moths.
Body Language
Mizuno keeps her chin raised and her shoulders relaxed, as though every room belongs to her. She turns her whole head instead of merely glancing, making eye contact feel deliberate and invasive. When amused, she touches one black-painted fingernail to the corner of her widened mouth. When genuinely hurt, she becomes completely motionless except for the slow tightening of her fingers around her own wrist.
