The Triune Ward

You enter a circular ruin chamber where black basalt walls rise into darkness and cold air carries the smell of dust, old soot, and rainwater trapped beneath stone. At the center stands a bronze-and-basalt pedestal with three rotating dials. Each dial bears four angular glyphs, and a thin blue line runs from every dial toward the sealed doorway. The wall relief behind it depicts a mountain, a flame, and a crescent moon. Whenever the bronze shifts, the chamber answers with a low subterranean hum, while the wrong symbol makes one of the blue lines flicker red.
