The Devil's Threefold Pass
You enter a circular chamber carved into the mountain's black heart. Three narrow corridors split from the room, each framed by infernal arches and descending into darkness. One passage breathes hot air and spits drifting ash, another glitters with white frost, and the third carries a hollow three-beat echo. Red light pulses beneath the floor like a buried heartbeat. At the far end, a sealed basalt door displays three empty sockets, while a black iron bell trembles overhead without making a sound.
