The Sevenfold Silence
You enter a circular chamber of pale limestone, where seven sealed doors curve around a waist-high bronze dais. Each door bears a different glyph, and each seam leaks a faint colorless mist. Three kneeling statues face the dais: one covers its ears, one covers its eyes, and one presses fingers across its lips. Dust lies undisturbed except for three fresh handprints on the dais. A low vibration moves through the floor, while distant chimes, shifting shadows, and half-heard whispers seem to come from different doors at once.
