The Mountain Remembers
You find a circular chamber cut into the mountain, where cold wind hisses through cracks in black stone and the air smells of ash, iron, and snow. Three copper bells stand before a wall of volcanic glass. On the wall, crimson symbols flare above images of a rising trail, a falling avalanche, and a horned judge seated beneath a peak. The bells hum in matching tones, while a sealed stone door bears a single line of Infernal script: the mountain remembers those who do not.
