The Fourfold Procession

You enter a square junction surrounded by four low archways, each marked by a different brass symbol. Damp stone gleams beneath your feet, and a sealed door of black granite fills the far wall. Four empty slots circle a cloudy crystal in its center. From the North Chamber comes a faint bell tone, from the East a warm breath of air, from the South the smell of ash, and from the West the cold scent of rain. As you approach the door, its crystal flickers through bell, sun, ember, and mirror symbols, then goes dark.
