The Three Watchers
You enter a round chamber where blue witchlight trembles across damp limestone. A waist-high pedestal stands before a sealed stone door, its nine bronze buttons polished by countless hands. Each button bears a strange symbol: an animal, an element, or a moon phase. A shallow basin reflects the ceiling, though no ceiling is visible in the darkness above. The air smells of rain, old smoke, and dust, and three blue lights over the door flicker whenever someone touches a button.
