The Crown, the Chain, and the Blade
The throne room's rear wall is sealed by a black-iron door veined with dull crimson light. Three empty sockets form a triangle around its lock, while three iron plaques lie on a nearby altar, their symbols sharp enough to catch at a fingertip. Above them, infernal script crawls across the stone like hot ants. The air tastes of copper and ash, chains whisper somewhere beyond the walls, and the judgment lens beside the lock pulses whenever someone touches the correct sigil. A throne of scorched basalt watches from behind the party, its empty seat glowing faintly as the mechanism waits.
