The Three Hungers

You enter a circular chamber of black basalt where stale incense clings to the air beneath a sharper smell of copper and wet stone. Six angular glyphs form a ring around a sealed door, while three offering stones rest on a cracked altar: a red glass eye, a bronze serpent, and a disk of lightless stone. Above the door, three tiny copper bells hang motionless. Faint violet light pulses behind the seams of the door, and white ritual chalk forms a damaged verse across the floor.
