The Floating Woods consist of thirty massive celestial islands drifting above a jagged five hundred foot chasm. These islands are dominated by primordial forests and fed by eternal springs that pour waterfalls into the depths below. Gravity defying crystals hum within the soil, fueling a mythic ecosystem of magical beasts and skybound flora. While logging sustains the local economy, much of the upper canopy remains unexplored, masking a dark descent into the Underdark beneath the island chain.
