Redford Plain is a broad, dry heartland of grain fields, military roads, buried wells, and crowded market towns. It feeds much of Mara's Scar while serving as the political center of the Well War. Magic is common here, but every spell damages something nearby. The greatest mystery is also the most feared: fields can grow a year's crop overnight, yet each harvest contains bones shaped like children. Every settlement has something to gain or hide.
