The Noble's Rest
The Noble's Rest began as a wayhouse for elven diplomats traveling between ancient woodland courts and human cities. Its first hall was grown from living trees rather than built from timber, and every major renovation has been shaped around that original grove. Over the centuries, the establishment became neutral ground for ambassadors, retired adventurers, wealthy merchants, and discreet agents who needed comfort without public attention. During a past succession crisis, the tavern sheltered three rival heirs in separate rooms without allowing violence to break out under its roof. The agreement that ended the crisis is still known as the Concord of the Rest, and the original document hangs in the private dining hall.
