The Singing Flame
The Singing Flame began as a cramped cookhouse beside a charcoal seller's yard. Its first owner boasted that the place would become the brightest and liveliest house in Vendrial, but the business never grew large enough to match the claim. When the current couple bought it, they kept the old sign rather than pay for a new one. Over time, the tavern became known for the gentler sort of liveliness: warm food, familiar faces, and the shy guitar playing of their son. It is now the smallest of Vendrial's three taverns, yet many locals consider it the most comfortable.
