History

Built three centuries ago at the site where a legendary treaty was signed between warring baronies. The temple was erected by the descendants of those soldiers to ensure the peace would never be broken again. It has served as a neutral ground and a place of refuge for the sick and weary ever since.

Divine Services

The temple offers Lesser Restoration and Cure Wounds to any in need for a modest donation of 25 gold pieces. For those of level 5 and above, a special ritual of 'Spirit Cleansing' is available which functions as a Remove Curse or Greater Restoration, though this requires the High Priestess's direct approval and often a task in exchange.

Sacred Relics

The temple houses the 'Vial of Eternal Stillness,' a crystalline container said to hold a single drop of Eldath's own essence. Additionally, the 'Staff of the Lily' is kept behind a protective field of force; it is a powerful magic item used only during the height of the summer solstice to bless the local harvest.

Laws of the Bloom

No weapons may be drawn within the temple walls under penalty of permanent banishment. All voices must be kept to a whisper to respect the silence of the goddess. Finally, every visitor must wash their hands and feet in the outer basins before entering the main sanctum to avoid treading filth into the holy waters.

  2. 2.Deep beneath the foundations, the temple hides a dormant portal leading directly to the Elemental Plane of Water.
  3. 3.High Priestess Valerene is actually much older than she looks, sustained by the very waters she protects.

Classified Entry

Beneath the central pool lies a sealed leaden crypt containing the remains of a chaotic warlord. The spring is not naturally holy; it is actually the purified essence of the warlord's spirit, being slowly drained to prevent their reincarnation.
