Nomads are living crossroads, travelers who refuse to let distance decide what is possible. Through precise spellcraft, practiced footwork, and instinctive spatial awareness, they vanish from danger and reappear where they are needed most. A Nomad controls the battlefield by constantly changing position, striking from unexpected angles, and turning movement into defense, offense, and exploration.

Spellcasting & Powers

Half-caster spellcasting beginning at 2nd level, using Intelligence. Nomads choose spells from the wizard list, restricted to abjuration, conjuration, divination, and transmutation spells; they also learn two wizard cantrips at 1st level.

Multiclassing

To multiclass into Nomad, you need Dexterity 13 and Intelligence 13. When multiclassing into Nomad, you gain light armor, medium armor, shields, simple weapons, and three martial weapons of your choice. Spellcasting follows the normal multiclass spell-slot rules, using the Nomad’s half-caster levels.

Light armor, medium armor, shields, simple weapons, three martial weapons of your choice, cartographer’s tools, and one of Acrobatics or Survival.

Training & Initiation

A prospective Nomad begins by learning to sense distance as a physical pressure rather than an abstract measurement. Initiation usually requires crossing a dangerous route without using conventional travel, followed by a supervised teleportation through a prepared waypoint. The final test is often an unscripted rescue, delivery, or escape in which the initiate must choose movement over combat.

Societal Perception

Ordinary people often admire Nomads as daring couriers and rescuers but distrust their ability to appear anywhere without warning. In regions where teleportation is rare, they may be treated as spies, thieves, or omens of coming trouble.
