A crumbling mountain fortress gripped by an unnatural chill. Its high stone walls are draped in frozen ivy and stained with the soot of a thousand long-dead torches.
The air smells of wet stone and old smoke. Distant clanking of metal on stone echoes through the halls, and a constant, biting draft whistles through the masonry.

Sir Valerius remains the primary danger, stalking the halls as a fallen knight. He believes the blight was a trick by local villagers and has vowed to execute any outsiders who enter his domain. His presence anchors the restless spirits in the keep, causing skeletons to rise whenever he calls out his orders.
History
Cinder-Stone Bastion was once a proud sentinel guarding the mountain pass against barbarian incursions. Two decades ago, a magical blight spread through the food stores, killing the garrison within a week. The souls of the fallen were never laid to rest, and their commander was driven insane by the isolation and lingering rot.
