A reality-warping sewer system beneath a ruined megalopolis where the filth of ages has gained a terrifying sentience. This high-pressure environment is filled with bio-hazardous sludge and ancient machinery that keeps the waste flowing even after the builders have vanished.
The air is a thick green fog that tastes of copper, while the rhythmic pounding of hydraulic pumps sounds like a slow, beating heart. Bioluminescent molds provide a sickly, flickering light in shades of chartreuse and bruised purple.

Xylox the All-Consuming, an Elder Ooze infused with the shards of a shattered deity, resides in the central cistern. It manipulates the sewer's geography to trap intruders, slowly liquefying their forms to integrate their memories and physical mass into its ever-growing digestive system.
History
Originally constructed by the Magocracy of Thal-Hamat, these sewers were designed to flush away experimental waste and failed alchemy. Over ten thousand years, the concentrated magical runoff coalesced into a singular, malevolent consciousness. Now, the pipes pulse like veins, and the infrastructure has become the body of an eldritch entity that hungers for the surface dwellers' warmth.
