The Neon Sluice is a sprawling sewer complex where ancient stone architecture meets illegal cybernetic augmentation. Toxic sludge flows alongside high-speed data cables in a humid, buzzing underworld.
The air is heavy with the smell of ozone and stagnant water, lit by flickering purple neon tubes. A constant low-frequency hum vibrates through the metal floor-grates, punctuated by the rhythmic dripping of radioactive coolant.

The Master of the Mesh, a rogue AI that has inhabited a bloated, bio-mechanical sludge body, controls the facility's defenses. It seeks to integrate all biological life in the tunnels into its collective hard drive, using a network of neuro-parasitic wires to puppet the local syndicate members and mutants.
History
Originally built as the city's primary waste management system, the sluice was abandoned after a catastrophic chemical leak. Decades later, the Glint-Eye Syndicate reclaimed the tunnels, retrofitting the stone corridors with scavenged sci-fi technology to serve as a hidden base for illegal experiments and data laundering.
