The Soul-Forge Spire
The pulse of the machine is the echo of a stolen heart.
A levitating fortress of brass and glass drifting through the Astral Winds of the Elemental Plane of Air. Inside, a mad architect fuses arcane souls into tireless metallic shells.
The air is thick with the scent of ozone and hot grease, vibrating with the low thrum of massive pneumatic pistons. Pulsing blue light emanates from floor conduits, occasionally arcing toward any metal objects the party carries.
☠ Threat
Silas Vane, now a demi-lich encased in a masterwork clockwork body, is preparing his Great Work. He intends to harvest the spirits of an entire city to activate a massive planar engine. This engine will synchronize the minds of every construct in the multiverse, placing them under his singular, cold command.
History
Silas Vane, a disgraced artificer, fled to the Elemental Plane of Air after the Academy of Wonders condemned his soul-splicing rituals. Over decades, he expanded this spire from a simple workshop into a massive industrial refinery powered by the plane's endless lightning. Here, he perfected the art of binding sentient essences into warforged frames to create an immortal army.
