The Verdant Cloister
Sunlight fades where the ancient vines take root and stone remembers the wind.
A sprawling stone temple reclaimed by the heart of the forest, where heavy stone mechanisms hum with forgotten power. The air is thick with the scent of pine and damp earth, punctuated by the chatter of distant creatures.
Soft green light filters through high canopies, accompanied by the constant sound of rushing wind and distant monkey calls. The air is humid and warm, smelling of crushed mint and wet stone.
☠ Threat
Ook, a corrupted forest guardian ape possessed by a parasitic shadow-insect, has turned the temple's peaceful inhabitants into aggressive defenders. He lurks in the highest canopy room, wielding a gale-infused boomerang to repel all who would cleanse the temple.
History
Built by an extinct order of druidic monks to house the Breath of the Wild, a powerful artifact of growth. Over centuries, the temple's own magic caused the flora to grow unnaturally fast, sealing the monks within and creating a self-sustaining ecosystem that has now fallen into shadow.
