The Hollow of Morndin
The silent dead wait for a heartbeat to hunt.
A subterranean burial complex carved from obsidian and gray siltstone. The air is stagnant, smelling of old incense and stale earth, where shadows seem to stretch toward any light source.
The crypt is filled with an icy chill that bypasses thick cloaks. Rhythmic clicking sounds echo from the walls, and the dim lighting is provided by guttering violet lanterns that smell of sulfur.
☠ Threat
Lord Valerius Morndin, a Wight who retains his noble tactical mind, rules the depths. He commands the restless dead from his inner sanctum and seeks to pull fresh souls into the eternal cold of the crypt to bolster his silent army. His presence causes the temperature to drop and magical lights to flicker erratically.
History
Originally a noble family's private mausoleum, the Hollow of Morndin was desecrated by a necromancer who sought to extract the soul residue of the ancestors. The spirits, now twisted by the failed ritual, refuse to leave and guard the desecrated remains of their kin with lethal fervor. The Morndin bloodline was extinguished long ago, leaving only the restless dead.

Rumours & Whispers
The Morndin family was cursed because they stole a holy relic from a mountain temple.

The treasure of the Morndins isn't just gold; it's a map to an ancient silver mine.
