The Cog-Iron Sump
Beneath the city of towers, steel and grease stifle the scent of the sewers.
A forgotten drainage hub in the Cogs of Sharn, recently repurposed by Warforged dissidents. The facility hums with illegal arcane energy and the rhythmic grinding of rusted gears.
The air is thick with the smell of ozone and stagnant water. Distant clanking and the rhythmic thrum of pumps echo through the tunnels, illuminated by flickering, guttering everbright lanterns.
☠ Threat
The Blades, a radical sect of Warforged, seek to harness the power of corrupt marks to ensure their kind's dominance. Backed by the corrupt Mayor Boromar, they operate with impunity, led by a brutal interrogator named Steel-Eye who views humans as nothing more than biological batteries.
History
Originally a maintenance station for Sharn waste management, this sector was abandoned during the Last War. Recently, the Blades have moved in, using the Mayor's clearance to establish a black-site for interrogating those with aberrant dragonmarks. They seek to extract the raw power of these marks to fuel a new generation of siege weaponry.
