Moonlight breathes through these halls even where the sun cannot reach.

A subterranean complex carved into white marble and silver-veined stone, serving as a tomb and reliquary for the Eldari elves. Its architecture mimics the boughs of great trees, with magical light pulsing like a heartbeat through the walls.

The air is cool and smells of petrichor and ozone. Pale blue bioluminescent moss clings to the ceiling, casting dim light, while distant, haunting flute melodies occasionally drift through the corridors.

☠ Threat

A sentient necrotic mist known as the Blight-Shadow has seeped into the vault magic foundations. It reanimates fallen guardians as hollow husks and warps the vault defensive enchantments into lethal hazards. The Shadow seeks to fully consume the Heart of the Forest, which would cause the entire forest above to wither and die.

History

Constructed five centuries ago by the Silverleaf Covenant, this dungeon was designed to house the Heart of the Forest during times of war. When the covenant fell to a creeping shadow blight, they sealed the vault to prevent the darkness from escaping. It has remained untouched until recent tremors cracked the seal, allowing the corruption to leak into the surrounding woods.
