Wolf-King Thicket
The moon never sets beneath the canopy of bone and briar.
A sprawling subterranean grove reclaimed by a bloodthirsty werewolf pack. Twisted roots and jagged stone form a deadly labyrinth where the scent of wet fur and iron hangs heavy.
The air is damp and chilly, smelling of pine needles, stale blood, and beastly musk. Hushed growls and the sound of sharpening claws echo through the roots, while pale moonlight filters through cracks in the high stone ceiling.
☠ Threat
Malagar the Silver-Scarred, an ancient and massive Loup Garou, leads the pack with a savage intelligence. He seeks to infect the nearby trade cities, using the Thicket as a staging ground for a permanent eclipse that would allow his kind to roam freely day and night.
History
Originally a sacred sanctuary for the Wardens of the Emerald Oath, this grove fell a century ago. A desperate battalion of knights, cursed with lycanthropy, overran the site and sought refuge from the light of the sun. They used dark magic to fuse the forest floor with the bedrock, creating a permanent stronghold for their growing pack.
