Dripping Maw Grotto

A natural limestone cavern system recently occupied by a small band of goblin outcasts. The air is humid and smells of wet stone and refuse, with phosphorescent moss providing a faint, ghostly light.
Constant dripping sounds from the ceiling, dim green phosphorescence, a chill draft flowing from the entrance, and the faint stench of rotting meat.
☠ Threat
Kraw the Cruel, a scarred goblin boss, uses the cave's natural defenses to maintain control over his desperate gang. He has successfully tamed a giant spider, using it to execute those who question his leadership or fail to bring back enough loot.
History
Originally a shrine to a forgotten water deity, the cave was abandoned centuries ago after a great drought. It remained empty until a group of goblins, fleeing a larger tribe to the north, claimed it as a fortified hideout.
