A sprawling network of decaying masonry and sludge-filled channels beneath the capital city. The lower levels have been eroded by draconic acid and necrotic runoff into a deadly labyrinth.
The air is a humid soup of methane and rot that clings to his skin. Torches flicker in the oxygen-poor environment, struggling against the sickly green glow of phosphorescent slime. Every step echoes through the vaulted stone pipes, punctuated by the rhythmic dripping of tainted water.

Jaxaroax the Bile-Spitter, a Young Black Dragon, has established a kingdom of rot in the deepest cisterns. He has enslaved a local tribe of wererats and is currently manipulating the city's infrastructure to flood the upper districts with toxic waste. His presence has mutated the local flora, turning mundane fungus into predatory entities.
History
Originally built as an aqueduct for a forgotten civilization, the Sump was repurposed by the city's founders as a sewer system. They unknowingly breached a cavern leading to a site of ancient ritual sacrifice. Over centuries, the infusion of lingering dark magic turned the sludge into a breeding ground for horrors, eventually attracting a dragon seeking a caustic throne.
