Blackwood Manor
Shadows dance in the candlelight of a dead family's legacy.
A once-opulent estate now reclaimed by damp rot and a lingering ancestral curse. The architecture is grand but crumbling, filled with the remnants of the Blackwood lineage's descent into madness.
The air smells of damp cedar and stale lavender. A constant, oppressive chill permeates the rooms, and the ticking of non-existent clocks echoes through the drafty corridors.
☠ Threat
The ghost of Lord Silas Blackwood haunts the halls, manipulating shadows and commanding the animate objects of his former home. He seeks a living host to reclaim his physical form and will manipulate any intruders into his final chamber. His influence manifests as whispering walls and objects that move when not being watched.
History
Built three centuries ago by Lord Silas Blackwood, the estate was the heart of the region's trade until a series of tragic accidents wiped out the family in a single night. Local lore suggests Silas bartered his kin's souls for eternal life, only to be trapped as a spectral guardian of his own ruin. The house has since stood empty, shunned by the nearby village for the strange lights seen in its upper windows.
