A decaying stone fortress swallowed by the emerald maw of the jungle. Rusting iron gates and crumbling battlements are now home to primordial beasts and vengeful spirits.
The air is heavy with humid heat and the cloying scent of tropical lilies. Shafts of dim green light pierce the canopy, illuminating swarms of biting gnats and the sound of distant, rhythmic drumming.
☠ Threat
The Verdigris Captain, a Wight merged with parasitic jungle vines, commands the restless dead within the fort. His influence causes the very plants to strike out at the living, seeking to expand his garden of bones.
History
Built by the Aethelgard Empire to secure jade trade routes, the fort was abandoned a century ago when a mysterious blight turned the flora aggressive. The garrison did not flee but was instead consumed by the rising tide of thorns. Legend says the commander still waits for a relief force that will never arrive.
