A gleaming white marble temple dedicated to an extreme sect of celestial purity. The architecture is sharp and unforgiving, bathed in a perpetual, blinding light that leaves no room for shadows.

The Empyrean Sentinel, a celestial guardian driven to insanity by the Zealots' failed rituals, stalks the deeper chambers. It views any biological presence as a 'stain' upon the perfect light and seeks to incinerate all intruders. The sentinel's influence makes the air itself shimmer with heat, slowly draining the vitality of anyone who cannot withstand the holy glare.
History
Built by the Solarite Zealots a millennium ago, this temple was designed to purge 'mortal imperfection' through absolute radiance. The priests ritualistically summoned a celestial being to power their crusade, but the binding process fractured the being's psyche. Now, the sanctum stands as a bleached tomb where light is used as a weapon against the living.
