A crumbling fortification built into a volcanic cliffside, now half-reclaimed by the earth. Thick ash coats every surface, and the scent of sulfur lingers in the stagnant air of these ruined halls.
The air is stifling and dry with the smell of old soot. Hazy orange light filters through cracks in the ceiling, illuminating thick dust motes, while the faint sound of shifting gravel echoes from the depths.

Korg Vane, a flame-scarred Bugbear Chieftain, leads a pack of desperate marauders from the deepest room. He has harnessed the residual elemental energies of the mountain to empower his warriors, turning them into cinder-infused threats that pillage the nearby trade routes.
History
Built by a sun-cult centuries ago to watch for omen-filled eruptions, the outpost was abandoned when the volcano went dormant. Over the decades, it has served as a temporary hideout for outlaws, but its latest inhabitants have brought a far more violent presence to the cooling stone.
