The cavern convulses around a black stone altar dragged toward a bottomless shaft. Crimson webbing binds a bound victim to its surface, while streams of blood crawl uphill into a symbol carved for Lolth. Eight-legged shadows pour across the walls, and beyond the shaft, something vast moves through a widening tear in reality. The altar grinds forward another inch. Stop it now, or this place becomes a permanent gateway to the Demonweb Pits.
