Keep the Lantern from the Dead

Cold water slaps your boots as you drop into the crypt. A salt-and-ash circle burns on the central dais, and the lantern at its edge throws ugly light into the flood. From the dark roots overhead, pale shapes drift closer. The dead are already here, and they know the lantern is the key.

Terrain Levers
- Kick over the salt brazier to mark safe ground.
- Shatter a root-hanging lantern to snuff one ritual flare.
- Open the broken stair gate to drain part of the flooded lower crypt.
