- A charming host offers a private room and asks intrusive questions.
- A pickpocket brushes past the character carrying the most valuables.
- The manager presents a bill for wine and a damaged room the party never used.
- The server slips a character a folded note: Kitchen. Wait for the bell.
- A patron loudly accuses the party of insulting the house.
NPC Reactions
- Polite answers earn directions and a clean exit.
- Blunt refusal makes Mara test the party with the false bill.
- Public threats cause every worker to stop helping.
- Respect for the staff makes the server risk opening the kitchen door.
