The Black Verdict at the Leyline Spire

The remains of the Obsidian Tribunal Inquisitor lie scattered across the tower’s cracked observatory floor, its ceremonial equipment ruined by the battle. The Shadow Wraith left behind no armor or ordinary possessions, only a fading stain of cold darkness and a few fragments of wraithglass embedded in the stone. Most of the recoverable wealth belonged to the Inquisitor: official seals, confiscated gemstones, coded warrants, and carefully stored magical supplies. The tower’s leyline has altered several items, giving the obsidian and gemstones a subdued violet radiance. Together, the hoard is valuable enough to reward a 12th-level party while also providing evidence and tools for further exploration of the tower above the leyline.
