Below the Fallen Watchtower Cache

After clearing a damp level of stone corridors and collapsed guardrooms beneath an abandoned watchtower, the party finds a small, half-buried chest tucked beneath a collapsed sleeping pallet and a loose flagstone. The chest contains pocketed coin from long-ago garrison pay, a couple of personal valuables likely taken from fallen guards, and a handful of practical adventuring items left behind by a quick retreat. Tucked into a hidden compartment are a common spell scroll and a low-level enchanted dagger, likely the spoils of an earlier raiding party. The goods are modest but useful: immediate coin for supplies, gems to pawn for specialized gear, a healing potion for emergencies, and tools and trinkets that will serve the party well deeper into the dungeon.
