Three-Way Clash: Field of Broken Standards

The valley fell silent after the three-way clash. Hobgoblins in organized ranks pushed forward against a disorganized marauding band that had been picking at goblin raiding parties; the crocobeasts bolted from the river and crashed into the fray, tearing through both lines. Survivors fled, and the dead were left where they fell. Among the churned mud and scattered banners the party found officer gear stripped from hobgoblin commanders, the bandit leader's coin and favored blade, a few useful spell components and scrolls likely grabbed in the heat of plunder, and odd trophies from the crocobeasts. The spoils reflect the mix of disciplined military kit, opportunistic raider plunder, and bestial remains. Most items are salvaged and wearable or sellable with minor repair; a couple of exotic bits offer crafting uses or serve as trophies to trade with collectors or military houses.
