Behind the false wall of a candlelit crypt the party found the vampire patriarch's private treasury, a small room of velvet, silver trays, and shadow. The true vampire and her brood bled the place dry of most obvious riches, but their hoard contains items useful to spellcasters and thieves: enchanted clothing that favors flight and stealth, a protective ring, a wand and a packet of concealment dust still warm with residual magic, and potions. Scattered among the ritual accouterments were gemstones and a modest coin chest gathered from victims over decades. The most disturbing finds are the alchemical components infused with vitae: a sealed vial of genuine vampire essence and a filigreed iron pin fused with blood-iron. Those components hum with potential for crafting dark magic or for cautious sale to discreet purchasers. The haul is balanced for a level 5 party: it gives immediate utility, a few meaningful magical upgrades, and rare components that create future hooks for crafting or moral choice.
