Noble's Cache of House Velyen

Beneath the lacquered canopy of a funerary bed in the vampire's tomb the party finds what remains of a noble's private vault. The true vampire, once Lord Velyen, kept his family's heirlooms close: enchanted personal protections, a few potent healing phials, and the accoutrements of a life lived among court and luxury. The vampire spawns guarded the approach, and the chamber shows signs of careful looting by the undead for provisions and trinkets. Most valuables are intact though dark stains and scorched velvet mar the presentation. Among the expected coin and gems are two items tied to the vampire's nature: a vial of preserved vitae and a Nightglass fashioned for nocturnal observation. These offer utility and roleplay hooks rather than world-breaking power, appropriate for a level 7 party returning from slaying a noble vampire and his minions.
