Spoils of the Scorched Muster

The battlefield is littered with broken arrows, torn standards, and the remains of a hurried goblin camp. Three goblins carried little beyond stolen weapons and loose coin, but the presence of a dragon has transformed the site into something more valuable and dangerous. Among the ash and trampled grass, the party finds a soldier's intact healing potion, a modest amber stone, and a few scorched remnants of dragon material. The dragon's hide and scales are far too damaged and limited in quantity to produce powerful armor, but they may fetch a respectable price from a specialist. The hoard is valuable for a first-level party without granting equipment or magic beyond what inexperienced adventurers could reasonably recover.
