Vault of the Sundering Passage

After clearing a twisting level of the dungeon, the party forces open an iron-bound storeroom door and finds a small vault once used by a band of opportunistic raiders and a local hedge-wizard. Barrels and chests have been looted of bulk goods, but several hidden niches still hold valuables: a modest magic blade and defensive cloak left by the hedge-wizard, potions and scrolls kept in a locked reliquary, and a collection of gems and crafting supplies the raiders intended to fence. In addition to mundane coin and armor, the party discovers two small custom oddities: a sigiled key cracked from a trap mechanism and a Serpent's Nerve token carved from ivory likely taken from a cult shrine. The haul is appropriate for a level 7 party exploring a mid-tier dungeon: a mix of consumables for immediate use, a couple of permanent magic items, crafting materials that support downtime crafting, and valuables suitable for selling or using in future enchantments.
