The Tale of This Treasure

Hidden beneath a ruined watchtower the party found a vaulted armory once tended by a master bladesmith and a circle of sword-priests. The air still rings with the echoes of grinding stones. Racks of long blades, coffered cases with wrapped hilts, and a locked iron chest held both mundane masterwork materials and rare magics. Most of the blades align with the longsword tradition: the blades are balanced for martial use and many bear wards and enchantments meant to turn a single-handed sword into a defining weapon of a champion. The party must decide which items to keep, which to sell to fund further adventures, and which to commission upgrades for allies. Several pieces require attunement and a careful hand to master, while gemstones and raw materials make for lucrative sales or the heart of a craft project for a smith in your party or patron.
