Cellar Break and the Boss Lady's Haul

After forcing open the rusted cellar door beneath the guard hall the party fought two uniformed soldiers, a gnoll beast that had been chained as a ward, and the boss lady who orchestrated the extortion racket. The soldiers carried standard field gear and coin, the gnoll left behind a fang and scrap hide useful to trappers or crafters, and the boss lady's private chest produced a signet, small gems and a fragment of a map that hints at deeper storerooms. Among the spoils the party recovered usable supplies for the next few forays: two healing potions, a single-use healing spell scroll, a slightly magical shortsword likely taken from the boss's personal guard, and enough coin and gems to cover minor purchases or a guided lead toward whatever the map fragment points to next.
