The Tale of This Treasure
The TAP field office settled its bill after your team closed the 'wax children' matter. The Agency's payment is practical and humane: coin to cover expenses, medical supplies to patch up anyone hurt in the field, and a potion drawn from TAP supplies for emergencies. They replaced the family's clothing the Agency confiscated and left a few small items from the scene preserved for evidence or counseling use. Among the mundane and valuable goods lie two emotionally charged objects from the case: a tarnished locket that holds a single comforting memory and a waxwork music box that plays a lullaby which can help coax buried feelings to the surface. TAP asked you to keep the items out of public hands; they may serve as evidence, a bargaining chip with the parents who preferred the 'improved' children, or an aid for helping the survivors reclaim their emotions. The total haul balances immediate practical aid with some modest valuables and two scene-specific pieces that advance roleplay and future investigation.
