The Tale of This Treasure
The two bodies belong to poor commoners who carried almost nothing of value in life, and less still in death. Their clothing is worn thin, their only weapon is a rough wooden club, and their combined savings amount to little more than a few dozen coppers. Among the meager possessions is a key and a small mourning token, clues that may point toward their home, family, or the circumstances that brought them here. There are no signs of armor, fine equipment, or hidden wealth.
